We understand that true beauty radiates from the inside out, and this simple question is the key to ensuring that each of our guests leaves us not only looking great, but glowing with the sense of self-​assurance that only comes from feeling like you at your very best.

History

Established in 2011.

The original concept for the Chapel was created by Amanda Dicker in 2001 in her amazing Tunbridge wells location. Amanda had trained as as stylist before travelling the world and returning to Tunbridge Wells to manage a wine bar and it was during this time she developed her focus on what was important to her customer. She remembered her travels and how it was always the little details that are really important; the people you meet, the welcome you receive, the kindness and hospitality you feel. She began to understand that creating an environment where her guests felt at home and special was the first step to getting an inspired relationship between them and their stylist. Creating the brand THE CHAPEL and beginning to teach the team to ask their guests how they want to «feel», not just what they wanted to look like. In July 2011 Amanda with her business partner Dawn Opened the third branch of The Chapel in a famous local building The Old School House, Sevenoaks

Few of our team have dedicated themselves to continually improving our guest’s salon experience for as long, or with so much consistent enthusiasm, as our Sevenoaks director Dawn Oliver. Experienced, talented and above all trusted both by her team and her scores of loyal guests, Dawn is The Chapel’s poster-​girl in every respect.
