The Sharp Practice

Went to Salisbury for the day. Saw the cathedral. Nice town but quickly got bored. Then found this place. Didn’t get anything done but the shop is crazy. Two motorbikes in the shop one built into the serving counter while the other one was just parked up. A band in the corner. Tattoo designs everywhere. Cabinets full of jewellery (they do piercing apparently). Airbrush artwork for sale (including a brilliant Frankenstein toilet seat on the wall). Friendly staff. By far the best thing in Salisbury after the cathedral (if you like big churches).

Great family run business with extremely talented tattoo artists. I’ve had four tattoos done here now and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else so much so that I even when I moved to London 6 years ago I can back to Salisbury twice to get tattooed at the Sharp Practice.

I have to agree with both evie1982 and KellyD. Talented tattoo artists and the laser removal service is excellent. I am currently having a tattoo removed and it is almost gone. I have only had three treatments and have a few more to go but I just know that the tattoo will pretty much be gone in a few more sessions. Big store and they are also online too.

I recently started going here for laser tattoo removal. It was recommended by a friend that has his tattoo’s done here. I was pleasantly surprised as I had no idea what to expect. Although I’d already had a couple of treatments elsewhere, the lady that does the laser removal was very thorough and went through all the do’s and don’ts before she started. She explained the procedure and what to expect afterwards, and the treatment itself was very quick. They have both the Ruby and the YAG laser here, which is more than I’ve found in some clinics that specialise in laser treatments!
With regards to tattooing, I can only comment based on the work I’ve seen on other people and they do appear to be very good. If my laser treatment isn’t 100% successful (there are no guarantees), I fully intend to have one of the artists here re-​do my tattoo.

If you ask people in Salisbury where they got their tattoo, they will 9 times out of 10 say it was with the Sharp Practice. These guys started up in Salisbury years ago, in a tiny shop in Winchester street and their pure talent have made them one of the most popular places in the South. You have to book an appointment for a tattoo because they are sooo popular. The actual store has a huge array of products on offer from clothes to smoking devices. A fab store and the staff are just so kind and laid back, your made to feel at ease.
