We did not want to leave UK without some Indian food, we found this place just by the railstation, great food and nice service. The kids loved it.

This place is as good of an Indian restaurant as I was able to find in the area, and made a strong point to visit every time I was in the area.
The wine list is simple, and fairly priced. I would try to offer suggestions for dishes to try, but there’s been literally NOTHING we’ve ordered over a very significant number of visits that failed to impress. Order what you like — I’m sure you’ll love it.
One thing to note — I do find the service a bit over-​attentive (but that’s better than the alternative).

The Shah is a run of the mill Indian, found in every City across the UK. Its a place to meet up for a quick bite before heading into town. If you want a slow relaxed meal spread over a few hours then this probably isnt the place for you. The food is lovely and authentic and the choice from the menu will leave you unable to pick! The prices are reasonable too. This Indian is on the outskirts of town near the train station, so a good stop if your looking for a bite before you travel.
