Jill The Cakemaker

I used Jill the Cakemaker to make the cupcakes for my recent wedding on 30÷6÷12. I met with her beforehand to discuss my requirements, which were then confirmed in writing and paid for. But on the day itself, the cakes were not what had been ordered. They were completely the wrong colour and did not have the edible glitter decoration requested. Instead of ivory iced cupcakes they were a hideous green! (She apparently did photograph them and claims the image is on her website gallery, but even these are not the requested ivory colour, and therefore not the cakes we received). There was also an imposed condition of having to hand over a refundable check for £100 to hire the stand and then return the stand to her the next day. This was inconvenient enough, but she was not at home as agreed and we had to take the stand to another location. I would not recommend the services of this person at all, especially not for an occasion as important as a wedding day. There should have been a full refund for this disaster; instead, a paltry £20 was issued. This supplier cannot be relied upon to deliver the service ordered and paid for, or to offer a quality product. She has come across as most unprofessional.
