I popped into Caffe Nero on a recent shopping trip into Romsey. The café is in an old building next to Barclays bank and on the main road. As its quite an old building the café is spread over two levels and has lots of nooks and crannys. It wasn’t very busy when I popped in and I managed to snag a comfy armchair next to the big windows facing the street. The assistant behind the counter wasn’t particularly fast making my coffee but was friendly and polite. I also got my card stamped as they run a loyalty scheme. I really like Caffe Nero coffee, I much prefer this to Starbucks and as usual my latte was expertly made and tasty. The prices are around on par with Costa and Starbucks so no suprises there. I just wish they would put one in Southampton town centre so I didn’t have to travel into Romsey!
