Services include, ice printing, sweet treats, breads, cupcakes, birthday cakes, wedding cakes, novelty cakes, commercial and catering events. Cake stand rental & delivery.

History

Established in 2013.

Jon Garrity, sole owner and baker has several years experience baking and decorating cakes, as a business ‘Jon’s Cakes’ begin trading in February 2013. This business has been steadily growing each month with many new designs being created each week.

Although Jon’s Cakes as a business is very new, the baker himself certainly isn’t, Jon has had a passion for baking and providing top quality catering for several years. Having grown up in a big family he understands the importance of good food.

Having left school he spent a few years at college qualifying as a restaurant chef, gaining plenty of experience in pubs, care homes, hotels and chain restaurants exploring the management side as per his studies.

But his true passion was found away from restaurants. In fact, Jon has spent many hours unleashing his true baker’s side, that combined with an artistic and creative drive — his love for baking and decorating cakes was born.

Jon is now working full time for himself, fulfilling orders growing the business, whilst trying new recipes and always learning new skills.
