Stead & Simpson

Stead and Simpson is well placed oppsosite the main car park and on the edge of the furlong centre. It’s a small branch of the shoe shop compared to larger towns, but inside you can still buy all the things you can elsewhere. I find there is a better choice on ladies shoes than anything else and the children;s section is very limited, but there are some lovely accessories for the children such as wellington boots and umbrellas in the winter season.
The prices are quite high in Stead and simpson unless there is a sale on and then you can pick up some really good bargains.
The only thing I don;t like in this store is that the staff really try to push the leather coat accessories when you purchase shoes and boots. Sometimes No thanks really does mean Not hanks.
