It is one of those shops you just don’t find anymore. It is really run down & something’s are very over priced. Though if you in a pinch it will have what your looking for.

SUR is one of those shops to go to when you can’t think where else to go. Need some ribbon, pop down SUR. Need a weird piece of obscure kitchen equipment? Pop down SUR. Need some really strong stackable plastic boxes for a couple of quid? Pop down SUR. Need some wool, because since your sister popped out some bairns, your mum is now a Gran and has taking up knitting again? Guess where you can go…
Yeah it smells a bit musty and the carpet is really old and the shop could do with a lick of paint. But it’s my little life saving shop. You can even borrow (for a small sum) odd shaped cake tins, if you are so inclined to the baking, to make number and letter shaped cakes. It sells some pretty obscure cleaning products too, that really work!
It sells some right tat too, but if you can’t think where else to get it, it’ll be in SUR.
