Specialties
We have a large range of French, Italian and Australian wine from highly rated small producers. We have increased our range of German wine this year. No doubt our Richmond Manager Edward will tempt you into trying Donnhoff’s superb Riesling after his recent visit. Austria, Hungary, and newcomer Armenia, as well as interesting wines to try from Spain complete the European picture. Our New Zealand and Argentinian wines are the current favourites with customers in our Richmond shop.
History
Established in 2003.
We are coming up to our 10th Birthday in Richmond. This is one of the prettiest of all our shops architecturally. It has the most beautiful shopfront with a curved side window and lovely tiles on the entrance porch. It is the smallest of all three shops goodness knows how we manage to cram in the entire range. Hill Rise was famous through the 1960s to the end of the 1980s for its antiques. Nowadays there’s a lovely florist next door and Anna Boutique which has fabulous Pret a Porter fashion run by Anna a great stylist.
