Halliwell Marks is an independent family estate agency based in Reigate, Surrey, specialising in the sale and letting of family homes in Reigate and its neighbouring areas. Our mission is to provide an ethical estate agency service, filling in the ‘trust gap’, which conventionally exists between the client and their estate agent.

History

Established in 2013.

Halliwell Marks is completely independent family estate agent based in Reigate which launched in November 2013. We (brother — Richard Halliwell, and sister — Emma Marks, directors) have along with June Halliwell (mother) invested in this new venture. As a family we have lived in the immediate area since 1976 and currently live in various parts of Reigate.

We believe moving house can, and should be, an exciting and positive experience. So we have created a brand new style of estate agency to deliver a welcome change to the property industry. We offer clients a personal approach, combining an efficient and highly professional service with exceptional value for money.

We also give back to the local community. Vendors select a local charity, from a shortlist carefully identified by Halliwell Marks, and we personally hand them £100 following a sale, or £50 per let.

Business Owner

Richard Halliwell lives in East Road, just off Nutley Lane, in Reigate. He is a family man who lives with his partner Katarina and daughter Anna, aged three. Richard has enjoyed a stellar career working for a leading Surrey estate agent for the last 17 years, winning several internal awards in the process. For the last six years, Richard worked at regional management level, looking after 11 offices across the South East. As a result he has built up a wealth of experience, as well as a detailed knowledge of the housing market in Surrey. Richard believes passionately that estate agents can deliver an exceptional service, and aims to prove that Halliwell Marks will deliver this to Reigate and the surrounding area.
