Excellent pub with a great atmosphere — really popular with people of a wide age range. A massive selection of drinks including imported stuff — drinks are really cheap. A great night out.

Parking is on street and metered.
Food reasonably priced and drinks are cheap. If you just want a quick meal then this is the place,
Food is the same as all other Weatherspoons pubs, service is crisp and the food is what you would expect for the price.
Have good meal deals and curry and steak night is good value.
Give the weekends a miss unless you are only after drinks.
Toilet Facilities were a mess, need to be checked and kept tidy more often.

I love this place, I find the food is generally a high standard for such cheap prices. Large good tasting Latte coffees at 79p means I’ll find any excuse to go in if I’m any where near the place shopping. The staff do a great job overall. I’ve even seen the staff eating there with family which is always a good sign. Top marks from me for the Plimsoll Line in Redcar!

The Tees Veggie Group went here for our Christmas meal and it was great! They were happy to give us advice on which foods were vegetarian/​vegan in advance, and also adapted a few dishes for us. We all got one free drink each and free crackers! The prices for the food and drinks were excellent, I highly recommend you book your group meals here.

As with all Weatherspoons pubs, the drinks are cheap but that’s about all it has going for it.
At weekends it is nearly impossible to get served. If you have 20 minutes to spare to fight your way through three or four rows of people and then hope that the bar staff don’t ignore you, then that’s ok.
No music and as a result people tend to talk. when there are a couple of hundred people in the pub everyone is talking loudly and for me, there is no atmosphere without some music.
The beer garden is nicely presented and there are plenty of seats. I would avoid this place at any time other than during the summer when you can sit outside.

A very popular pub, always busy with young and older people.
Good drinks offers on pitchers and cocktails and the menu is varied.
The food and drinks are reasonably priced.
As with all Wetherspoons pubs, there is no music played though.
The atmosphere is still good though.
They also have a family eating area and beer garden.
Worth a visit!
