A quirky little take out fish and chips spot, generous portions at a reasonable price. A little greasy perhaps but cooked fresh, served super hot and the chips (fries) were indeed excellent. The owner is a bit of character, so don’t be surprised.

Wonderful fish & chips. Golden crispy chips and really crispy batter on the fish. Good size portions too — one large fish easily serves three and the normal fish is more than adequate for most. Ignore all the other chippies in the Wokingham Road and make for the Three Tuns crossroads — well worth the effort.
If you need to be gluten free, they generally don’t have the ‘floured’, processed chips favoured by most these days. I usually ring first to check as very occasionally they have to use a different supplier.
