History

Established in 1999.

In 1999, «JPJ Computers» main business was split between «PC Build Sales» (to customers required specification), «PC Part Sales» and «Computer Repairs/​Upgrades». Our customer base was home users and small businesses, and still is today.

By 2006, we noticed that 50% of the computers now coming in for repair/​upgrade were laptops as opposed to the PC (Towers/​Desktops).

By 2008, although we still built PC’s, we focused more on the computer repairs/​services side of the business, since users were now more inclined to purchase laptops/​netbooks as opposed to PC’s built to specification. We were also now doing «data recovery» from faulty computer hard drives and even repairing faulty hard drives!

By 2012, we also started repairing game consoles (XBOX/​XBOX360/​PS3), smartphones and Tablets.

Today (in 2015) we repair/​upgrade/​tune-​up computers (laptops, notebooks, netbooks, PC’s and tablets), smartphones, IPODS, IPADS, hard disks and game consoles (XBOX360/​PS3/​PS4) and sell computer parts.

John J.

Business Owner

John had worked in the electronics/​data communcations/​computer industry for many years. Started as a test/​repair bench technician, then became an electronics engineer team leader/​senior repair engineer and finally a technical services manager, running a whole repair department. John always had the ambition to run his own business, so in 1999, he started «JPJ Computers».

Qualified with a HNC in Electronic Engineering (BTEC Level 5) and an Electronic/​Computer Engineering BSc Degree (with honours).

John has both the technical knowledge and ‘hands on’ experience to resolve all hardware and software problems your computer device is experiencing. Renowned for his fault finding skills and determined nature, he always seems to be able to find a solution to a fault and keep his customers satisfied.
