Went for some food. Ended up getting the pulled pork burger and doubled up. Food took a while to come out and we even had to go up to the bar to chase. The burger was very sickly, must’ve been the sauce and I struggled to get through it. (Visit — 11/​05/​2014 Dinner)

used to be a really nice pub with Larry and Jane in charge. Since Chris and Collette things have deteriorated. Now it’s unusable, full of drunken thugs and drug dealers. I wouldn’t park in the car park as there vandalism
is rife. Definately worth going out of your way to miss! A victim of Labours Lawless Britain…

I used to go into the Paul Pry on a regular basis when I worked in Rayleigh. A convenient meeting place for work friends. A small, compact dining area, and food was always reasonalby priced and freshly cooked. Staff were helpful. Has its own free car park. Excellent public transport available as on direct route into Rayleigh town centre.
