Poundstretcher in North End has been ideal for me. Having recently moved here I found myself with a stack of receipts from their in a very short time. If you need something for a new home you will probably find it in here. I am talking about things like waste bins, draining boards, bowls, table and chairs, quilts, tools, slug pellets — you can see they have a range of things.
They also offer a small selection of food — you could not come here for a grocery shop but you can pick up a bargain on Branstons beans for instance.
They sell washing powder and toiletries, garden stuff, toys and games, stationery, food, tools, kitchen items, bedroom and bathroom essentials as well as vases, mirrors and the usual £1 bin type items.
