Write For You offers a comprehensive writing service for businesses large and small. This includes; content for websites, press releases, sales letters, newsletters, articles on any subject for publication in online blogs or in print, a proof-​reading and error correction service and much more. We are happy to translate US and other forms of English and writing style into UK English and style for the UK marketplace. Write For You provide words that mean business!

History

Established in 2007.

The business was established in 2007 as a means of putting to good use a natural flair for writing, honed over many years in different occupations which had all utilised this talent to a greater or lesser extent. Since that time I have produced web content and many other items for businesses in the UK, India and China.

Business Owner

26 years as a police officer, starting in the days when very few pro-​forma reports were used. Almost everything was written or typed in narrative form. This was followed by a couple of years as a self-​employed salesman and then 18 years working for a local authority where I re-​trained as an Environmental Health Technician. The work involved carrying out food hygiene and safety inspections and writing follow up reports with covering letters. The purpose of the letters being to get improvements carried out without recourse to prosecutions. This proved to have been excellent practice for writing persuasive sales letters! Compulsory retirement at 65 due to the Council’s ageist policy led to a year working as an agent for a will-​writing company which abruptly ceased trading in 2007 leading to the birth of Write For You.
