Guitar and bass guitar lessons provided in all modern styles of music,

but specialise in rock, pop and blues playing. Electric and

acoustic guitar tuition from beginner to advanced levels and bass guitar at

a beginner level. I am situated in Poole but teach in surrounding

areas including Hamworthy, Parkstone & Bournemouth.

Teaching will cover many aspects such as:

— Technical Development (Technique, Chords, Scales, Arpeggios.)

— Building Musical Repertoire

— Improvisation

— Sight-​reading

— Music Theory

— Composition and Arrangement

— Practical Musicianship

— History of Music

— And many other aspects of Playing, Performing and Recording

Experienced teaching RGT, Rockschool and Trinity guitar grade examination material and have a 100% pupil success rate. For lessons I provide learning materials in the form of well presented musical examples and backing tracks to play along to. I am a flexible teacher and I will teach what you wish to learn.

Performance Experience

Twelve years of experience performing in function bands and duo’s in a variety of different styles for weddings, parties, charity events and stage shows in a wide range of venues across the UK. Versitile player competent in a variety of different styles & genres including rock, funk, pop, reggae, blues, jazz and more. Established backing vocalist. Experience performing as a solo artist & as a member in a group.

Teaching Experience

Tutor for ACMR South Coast on the BTEC Performance Diploma, in Songwriting, Guitar Improvisation and Stage Presentation. Experienced teaching one to one and group lessons at ACMR South Coast based in Bournemouth, Dorset. Provide private teaching as a freelance guitar and bass tutor in the Bournemouth and Poole area. Experienced in providing workshop tuition in Songwriting, instrumental and band development.
