Free to view able to watch the potters and paintresses at work 7 days a week. I could spend hours looking at all the one off pieces for sale as well as the production runs. My grandchildren have had fun painting a pot. Well worth a visit.

This is a really good gift store. The main theme is Poole pottery and seconds /ends of lines are sold at bargain prices. There is a good range of gifts to cater for all tastes and pockets and some interesting things for Christmas. Upstairs there is a huge range of clothing and shoes as well as a tea room and it nevers seems to be too busy. Just mind you don’t arrive at the same time as a coach party when it can get busy!

Sadly this place went down hill when they revamped it and started charging people to see inside the factory. All though its well known and is very collectable sadly its no longer made in poole. They do have akids area where they can do pottery activities for a small fee. and both levels can be reached by a lift.

Famous all over the world, Poole Pottery is sold here. Some very beautiful pieces and collectables. Also glass objet d’art, rather like Venetian glass ware. There is a ‘have a go’ decorating a plate etc– fun gift for granny or let the kids do it. Also for sale is jewellery, glassware, kitchenware, and some novelty itenms, Upstairs there are clothes and shoes. Good for deck shoes and outerwear, the rest varies a lot. A tea room too.
