Carvery on a Sunday is excellent; shame they’re not at all vegetarian-​friendly as absolutely everything seemed to have meat in! As a carnivore I loved the choice of meats, sides and sauces for an affordable, enjoyable full Sunday roast we didn’t have to cook at home. However I wouldn’t be able to bring my vegetarian family members and boyfriend here again as there was nothing except dry vegetables for them to eat — upon asking if a certain item contained meat we were informed ‘probably not’, not exactly reassuring! I know traditional carvery restaurants are supposed to be all about the meat but many do provide vegetarian options so families can enjoy a meal together, something that would be ideal here.
Be sure to book in advance on Sundays or bank holidays as it can get very busy.
