The food is good although Tge food was dissapointing last time I was there. Family atmosphere in a family restaurant. Nothing amazing though!

A good venue at the bottom of the old part of the High Street and away from the hustle and bustle of the Quay. A good menu, ranging from snacks to meals and all nicely presetned. The portions were a good size. The staff are welcoming and a nice atmosphere inside with newspapers to read.

A charming hotel, tucked away at the end of the High St, about three minutes walk from the Quay. I’ve only ever been in here to have drinks, and I find it rather pleasing. It is quiet, in the sense of no traffic or masses of people walking by, and therefore very pleasant to meet and chat. Staying guests have the use of a pretty courtyard beer garden. Some parts of this building date from the fifteenth century and it has, it seems, always been some sort of meeting place. Certainly worth a visit, or at least a photo op.
