I provide a dog walking service and a dog sitting/​pet sitting service for Pontypridd. I also do home visits for pets who can’t be left on their own all day. I have 10 years of experience working with animals, and like to build up a strong relationship with the pets I look after so that they really have a fun experience, and I also implement some basic training so that I can keep them safe and out of trouble. My main aim is make the experience as fun as possible for your pet whilst keeping them out of trouble. To make my business as environmentally friendly as possible I travel by bicycle and use biodegradable poop bags.

History

Established in 2014.

Ponty Pooch Patrol was set up in late 2014 just after I moved to Pontypridd. Prior to this I spent two years working as a dog walker in Bristol.

Before setting up Ponty pooch Patrol I spent two years working as a dog walker in Bristol, which made me realise that I love this way of making a living and that I have a natural rapport with dogs. I have a triple distinction Diploma in Animal Management, 10 years experience of working with pets in shelter and veterinary and tropical environments and am currently working on a Dog Behaviour Diploma with the British College of Canine Studies.
