Haribo Factory Shop

its just a small shop thats nothing much to look at, but they have masses of all the sweets in same size as supermarkets sell, then 1kg tubs or 3kg bags all at good prices, they also had a couple of pens and keyrings for sale too
seemed to be some rare or maybe foreign market haribos too that id never seen for sale in the uk

This is the best place in West Yorkshire EVER. I’m dead serious (am i just being a big kid?). Have no Unilocalers been here yet??? It’s the official Haribo factory shop (yes it looks a bit unspectacular for an international company’s factory shop).
If you haven’t been and you love Haribo… get yourself on the train, bus or in your car to ‘Ponte-​Carlo’ now! It’s simply the best reason to go to Pontefract. If you don’t know — Pontefract has a very long history of Licorice and confectionery making (Dunhills which is now owned by Haribo and Monkhill Confectionery now owned by Cadbury), so it’s only right to visit the Haribo factory shop when you’re there! Sweets fresh from the factory (the factory where these sweets are made is right behind the shop!)
I bought so many sweets from here. I’m like a kid again. They often sell bags of Haribo cheaper than the supermarkets, have loads of bags of sweets and licorice on clearance and you can even buy those huge tubs you can get in cornershops. Goldbears, Starmix, Supermix, Tangfastics, Pontefract Cakes… all there.
Pity it’s closed on weekends.
