The Berwick Inn

A nice coutryside pub with relaxed atmosphere. We went on a sat night and they had an acoustic band playing covers of popular songs that they’d tweaked into their own style.
Food was delicious — I would highly recommend the sweet potato fries! I also had a lamb and feta burger which was pretty tasty — comes with a spicy sauce in a thick bun seeded.
Outside area looked perfect for a sunny day with plenty of seating and kids play area.
Only things that let this pub down:
Service — It wasn’t terrible but wasn’t great either. Our food took almost an hour but as it’s made from scratch and a large group came in right before us its understandable but they should’ve at least given us a heads up.
Back — near the bathrooms there’s a large room that looks like the contents of an attic with stuff jumbled everywhere… not sure if they’re having a clearout or if this is a permenant feature.
