Born and raised in the Hampshire countryside, my first love was horses.

From the age of 13 I worked as a groom at the local riding school, and left at age 16 to move on to catering work. At the same time, I was working for a Tree Surgeon, who was also up for any other outdoor work. I guess he was a Jack of all trades, and I was his assistant.

I stayed at The Post House Hotel in Southampton for 18 years, before leaving to join my partner, an Organic Dairy Farmer, in Petersfield, Hampshire, where I am in charge of some of the paperwork involving the cows, from birth, calving, right through till death.

I also worked at my son’s Junior School for the following ten years, seeing many small children grow and move on to Secondary School, before leaving to start my own business, Kazou’s Pet Services.
