History

Established in 2012.

Scraggywaggs is owned by me, Jemma Redhead. I have been professionally walking and training dogs and cat sitting since the beginning of 2010. In 2012 I decided it was time to launch my own company, specialising in helping shy or nervous dogs find their confidence and provide a specialist cat sitting service. I have one dog walking assistant on board and between us we cover Chorlton, Old Trafford, Salford Quays, Didsbury, Hulme, Whalley Range, Stretford and Firswood.

Meet the Business Owner

Jemma R.

Business Owner

After eight years of working in Social Care, supporting people with mental health problems, I decided it was time to leave and do what I have always wanted to do. Work with dogs.

I have been involved with animal rescue and welfare for many years. This includes having my own rabbit and rodent sanctuary, training dogs that have been rescued by my local RSPCA, fostering cats and kittens, conducting home checks and assisting at local animal health events, run by the RSPCA.

I have always had dogs in my life, Labradors, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Retrievers and now I share my life with Thomas, my little rescue JRT and my three cats.

When I am not walking or training other peoples dogs, Thomas and I attend Rally and agility training. I also manage to find time for my continuing study of various canine courses.
