I absolutely live Ask restaurant! The food is amazing and service is always excellent!

I’ve always discounted Ask in favour of other pizza restaurants in Peterborough but had a 2-​for-​1 voucher so decided to give it a go and I’m glad I did!
Great courtyard outside for summer dining, the food was nice (not outstanding, but certainly nothing to complain about. It is a chain after all).
The location was made even better by not being situated amongst the hustle and bustle of Cathedral Square. Being snobby here but you do tend to get a certain kind of customer when you make yourself easily accessible. Normally seven or eight screaming kids in tow with enough jewellery to bring Ratners back into business.
Ask is tucked away on Priestgate so really quiet and pleasant.
What I was most impressed with was the Manager’s attentiveness. He was actively engaging customers whilst serving, something a lot of restaurants could learn from.
My pricing score reflects the voucher I used, I’m not sure at full price whether it would be my new regular pizzeria though.

I eat at ASK quite often and it one of my favourite places to eat in Peterborough. The staff are always cheerful and helpful and there is always a nice atmosphere. They cater well for all size groups, they have a fairly decent sized bar area where you can wait for your table or the rest of your party and there is heated outdoor seating for summer evenings. I have never had a problem getting a table there even though they always seem to be busy and have never had a bad meal. The food is delicious, there is a good vegetarian selection and there are some lovely wines on the menu. The best thing about ASK however has got to be the honey comb cheesecake which, at the risk of sounding unadventurous, I have everytime I go there!

ASK in Priestgate is an old building tastefully decorated with light coloured walls and oak. There also is a conservatory that is a nice alternative in Summer.
I last visited ther a fortnight ago. We were welcomed in and shown to a table. The menu is standard fair, think Pizza Express and you’ll be in the ball park.
We ordered calzones, but were brought chicken ones, when we ordered vegetarian ones. However, the staff could not apologise enough and I felt they really were sorry for the mistake.
Regardless, it did not spoil our evening and the food was good value for money and of a high standard. We also went for the sticky toffe pudding for two to share. At over £7 I was expecting a good portion. Howver, it was just enough for two; more like a 1.5 sized portion.
Peterborough and the surrounding district has some fine authentic Italian restaurants. ASK cannot compete with the best, but is a safe bet albeit formulaic.

Liek all Asks its nicely decorated has fairly polite and quick to attend staff and does average to good food.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. I love the food and the atmosphere. The prices are good. The drinks are good with a good list of wines. Easy to get to. Friendly staff.
