Great views pity about the staff
Visited on a trip to Cornwall for Easter, lovely restaurant/​bar with wonderful views all was great but the staff could have been more friendly, would post a photo here but was told NO PICTURES !!! by the staff.

Lovely location and a nice place on a summer’s afternoon to have a pint outside while the kids play on the lawn.
The food is on the expensive side but what you pay for is what you get.

We’ve stayed at the Old Coastguard Hotel over quite a number of years in late December to see the Mousehole Christmas lights and its a combination that really works for us (family of four) The rooms are fine, everything they should be, but the real appeal is the restaurant and the location. The hotel is right by the sea on Mounts Bay and the views are stunning and even at night you can hear the waves. The food is very fresh and modern, beautifully presented with decent veggie choices and of course good for local Newlyn fish. We’ve even taken photos of the desserts, they were works of art! But tasted good too. The décor of the restaurant is very stlylish and modern. Altogether it’s a lovely place to use to visit this wonderful old fishing village.
