Penarth Esplanade is a strange place and I can never decide if I like it or not. The not part is it being one way so if you miss where you want to go you have to drive all the way around to get back to where you want to be.
The restaurant was family owned and run which is just as well during a recession as you can pay family members less.
I love to eat veal and they sold it here sadly it was not UK reared but from the continent but taste buds gave way to better, selfish, sense and I ordered the veal — there were about 5 different types of dishes to choose from.
The whole meal was lovely and the staff were great.
Romeo’s will be on my list to eat in again if i am ever in Penarth.
