I used to live near this pub and for the first 6 months was too scared to go inside! typical girl lol. It is very ”bricky” and when ever i looked through the window it was full of boisterous old local men! Any one day i got my house mates to pop in with me and it was actually okay. The old men in there were friendly and didnt mind some nebies at all! One of them was very drunk(and irish wooohooo) and started singing for us. It was a craic lol! The bar staff were really friendly and i wished i had gone in sooner. Its not the sort of place i would go in every day — or for an evening out. But the prices are decent and its usually fairly quiet so its great if your out for a social one.

This quiet pub on Iffley rd, parallel to Cowley, is a great place to try something different. A large single room pub, looking out over the cricket pitch is a great place to enjoy they only location i have ever come across pint and a half’s, however it is only in Green King IPA and London Pride… so no lager A pub for people who don’t like the same old pubs, something a little quieter and for a real thirst quencher REVIEWINONELINE: Come For the Peace, stay for the pint… and a half
