It became spice box a few years ago when it changed ownership, much of the staff from sugar and spice remained. The food at sugar and spice was very high standard and always great service, the food has dropped by a little standard and the service is like you would expect from any curry house, but is is still the best one in Oxford.

This is purely a takeaway service operating out of Unit 16 Chiltern Business Centre, and seems to go by different names, eg it also advertises as The Spice Box. Whatever the name, it is highly recommended. We phone our order in & were quoted 30 – 40 minutes, in fact it arrived in 20. It was really tasty, plenty of large chunks of chicken in the curries, crispy poppadums. Good prices. Onion bhajis had got a little cool, but a few seconds in the microwave remedied that. We’ve been searching for a reliable Indian takeaway in Oxford, and we think we’ve found it whatever it’s called!
