A great place to eat, drink and talk with friends

My father and I have always made a habit of coming here whenever it is just him visiting. The sandwiches and paninis are delicious and they can make a decent cup of tea. The staff, be it the owner of the others that work there are all friendly. The facility is small with very little seating but it is all excusable for the food and drink at a decent price.

This is a more down-to-earth sandwich shop than many Oxford ones and is crammed full of tasty stuff, including halal food and full English breakfasts. You can eat in or take away and they do a good range of lunchtime baguettes and paninis. There are lots of cold drinks and it’s not limited to really expensive and overly healthy, which is a surprising problem in Oxford! They also do all the usual hot drinks. The staff are friendly and it’s nice when it’s bustling a bit inside. Prices are reasonable, and all in all it does a good job.
