Frankie & Bennys

We called in at our favourite Frankie & Benny’s in oldham after the panto they had a kids eat free offer for Boxing day so we were pleased with that. When our food arrived the waiter passed over a plate to my 11 year old son the plate was extremely hot and burnt his finger. we asked him why he would hand a plate so hot to a child he replied sorry but I couldn’t reach over far enough to place the plate on the table. (not the attitude I expected). I complained to the manager she put it in the accident book and our bill was paid by the restaurant. Reluctant to return.

I m in between that thinking they do a better Burger in manchester but not quite on par with another place that does burgers not mentioning any names ‚
The two courses for £9 .95 was a reasonable price for the said meal and I only have one regret ‚
That’s I wish I had gone for the sweet and not the starter ‚
Then had the main which was OK ‚
The décor here is not like the one in manchester and for some reason I like it better .I really keep looking for the cowboys and Indians
I may have been misinformed I thought this was an american outlet or should I say restaurant, needless to say I will be back again soon I like the service maybe also its cause its a little less busy and they had time on their hands,

Ordered spaghetti carbonara. Found hair in my dish. Manager got me a new plate. No apologies or adjustments etc.

Yes i’ve broken my Frankie & Bennys Cherry.
I’ve been meaning to do it for a while so off i and the family went eager to try this place so many friends rave on about.
1^st — I’m guessing all the stores look the same so if you have been before i’m guessing you have seen it before.
I was impressed. I liked the american/​Italian theme. Tables where big, seats where comfy and the booths looked quite romantic.
It was in my opinion noisy !
There is a hustle and bustle type atmosphere but with everything feeling a little enclosed its going to feel like that i suppose.
Staff are nice and friendly.
Food selection is good.
From starters to light dishes, to pizzas, calzone’s, burgers, steaks & pasta dishes.
If you have a gluten allergy then i’m sorry but your out of luck & stay away.
If your watching your calories then probably best to avoid as the menu cannot give you a guide & after my calzone i’m guessing mine was fully loaded with them.
The food is nice. i enjoyed it but i wasn’t captivated buy it & at the end of the night when the bill came i didn’t think that it was value for money.
I would go again though !
