Our fish and chips are always cooked fresh in front of your guests and served immediately to ensure that your guests get their food in their freshest form.
We only use fish from sustainable sources and our potatoes are fetched weekly from market and then rumbled, and hand cut to create a portion of chunky chips just the the ones your mum used to make.
We can also provide cutlery, condiments and event delicious desserts such as ice cream and even fruit filled crêpe‘s to accompany your fish and chips.

History
Established in 2009.
Tom & Simon’s Kitchen was established in July 2009 by Tom and Simon. Between them they had experience of working in some of Nottingham’s premier restaurants including Tom Browns and Blue. With the ambition to work for themselves in the food industry they came up with the idea of bringing back the old tradition of the mobile fish and chip van.
With the purchase of their LDV van they began visiting local villages and selling their produce to the local people. Within a short space of time they had developed a loyal customer base which continued to expand.
In the summer of 2010 they were asked to appear on BBC Radio Nottingham to discuss their success as young entrepreneurs in a recession.
The summer of 2010 also brought change for the business with Tom leaving the business to be replaced by Wayne who is now affectionately known as Tom. Simon and Wayne continued to enhance the brand of Tom & Simon’s Kitchen until the departure of Simon in 2012 left Wayne to continue their successes.

Having worked in the fish and chip industry for the past 3 years i have learned that there is much left to be desired by the mainstream chips shop brands.
I therefore have a passionate belief that the future of the industry lies in going back to the roots of supplying fish and chips cooked to order using sustainable sources of fish and freshly hand cut portions of chips.
My goal is to provide the catering industry with a broader range of catering services and develop a strong brand identity with our catering services.
