Poundland has always got random bargains, the kids love to grab a toy, the shop always seems way to small and the layout is not that good. Staff arent that pleasen either.

pondland as you can guess evertything is a pound. if yourlookin for a bargain then your sure to find one here. good value for your toiletries, xmas cards decorations and batterys, its worth taking a look for little stocking fillers.

This is a brilliant store as long as you are aware and hunt out the true bargains, for students like myself this is ideal and i can’t gripe with the purchases i have made. I do not think this is the best pound shop in Nottingham, there is one further up town which has greater variety.

As the name suggests, everything in a store is a £1 so there’s never any worry about not finding a price tag!
The items they stock can be a bit eclectic at times. Alongside tea bags and gardening equipment you can find baby bottles and underwear.
Many of the items are, to put it bluntly, tat but bargains can be found. Toys seem to be of a very reasonable quality and I have found a number of things that have lasted longer than I would have expected. Some toiletries and household cleaning items can also prove to be a bit of a bargain.

I used to go here loads until they moved from near to market square to the broadmarsh centre area. Some bargins to be had but also some rubbish so be careful what you buy and a few items can be found in the normal shops for less than a pound. check all sweets and foods for their best before date it wont be very long. I usually buy kiwi (the shoepolish makers) Toilet block (lasts for ever), re-sealable freezer bags, and sally hansen nail products. Queues can be large and the shop very crowded, shame they didnt move to a much bigger store. They stock small ranges suck as tolietries, household cleaners, toys, pet foods, sweets and crisps and season stuff

Poundland is great with it’s simple concept of everything being a pound. The selection is practical but can be a bit random at times, with underwear to be found among other things. I come here for cleaning bits, sweets and toiletries where you can get a lot fot your money. The layout makes it easy to get crowded, so I would try and come at quieter times to avoid stress.

You can find some fantastic bargains here for just £1. I always look here before I look anywhere else for items. Can get crowded though. And you do get some rude people who push, but I think it is worth it for the mega bargains that I can get.
Staff are quite efficient and do work through the big checkout queues as fast as possible. They have things such as blank cds that would cost you a few quid elsewhere.
The quality of the products seem to have gotten better in the last few years.
