A real Nottingham classic, I remember this place when it was in the old shop so many years ago. The great thing is if you liked it then you’d still like it now. Fashions may change, trends may come and go but not in here. The prices aren’t good, but they are no worse than you would expect and the range is great. The body jewellery is particularly well stocked and the pendants are more varied than most shops.

I havent been for a while but I always see something I like in there. There is alot of unique items in the shop. I think the collection of body jewellery is excellent! Definitely have a look in if youre passing.

I have been shopping here since I was a student in the nineties and it hasn’t changed at all since then! It is a huge emporium of alternative kitsch with hippy stuff like henna, candles, incense and jewellery upstairs and the goth and metal stuff downstairs. They usually have some good clothes but it is all just a tad overpriced. Still, as a one stop alternative shopping destination it can’t be beaten. Unless you hop on a train down to Camden.

This shop is like an Aladdins cave, full of goodies! It stocks some really lovely jewellery which I have treated myself to on a few occasions. It also stocks some alternative fashions, ethnic homewares and incense. The staff are friendly and the prices are reasonable.

Situated in the heart of Hockley, Ice Nine is just a short walk from the city centre and stocks what some might call alternative or goth items.
My friends and I have been shopping at the shop since we were young teenagers. Back then, we were mainly interested in the clothes but as tastes have changed the jewellery section has now become the most appealing thing. I particularly like the silver rings and now have a bit of a collection.
The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable about the products they sell and always happy to help out or suggest something.

oh wow this shop is jam packed with loads of stuff its like an aladdins cave of trinkets and more. fabulous for gifts they have jewellery crystals ornaments from fairies to skulls and an alternative wardrobe section. i love their mirrors the most though. its based in the pedestrainized area of hockley only a few mins from market square.

This is a great shop with friendly staff. It is mainly alternative people that go here. They sell jewelery, candles, clothing, hair dye, incense, smoking materials plus plenty of other unusual things. The shop is on two levels and lots of the things they are selling are in cabinets.

The main shop has windows full of goodies and in the basement are clothes etc.
Ice Nine specialise in platinum body jewellery as well as UV and silver jewellery. They also sell joss sticks, wind chimes, lava lamps and water pipes. Goth clothes, hippy clothes, ethnic items. Ornaments.

Have been shopping in ice nine for years as it always has something that little bit different. From candles, tarot cards, body jewelery and gifts they have all things unusual. They have a small selection of clothes and have some great cards.
Although many shops now have similar lines the staff in ice nine are really helpful and friendly and have a good knowledge of what they sell and give you good advice.
