History

Established in 1982.

We first started in London in 1982 subcontracting to another bindery in The Inner Temple and also a bindery in Victoria but we decided to go out on our own. We came to Norwich in 1993 and moved to our present address in the Unthank Road in 1999 and we have since enjoyed working in such a vibrant and versatile community. Long may it continue !

Business Owner

Co-founder of Peartree Bindery, Bernard was apprenticed at The Warburg Institute in London. When he became a journey-man he went self-employed and sub-contracted to a firm of bookbinders in the Inner Temple in London which is where we met.

After we married he sub contracted to a firm of bookbinders in Victoria whilst I worked from home.

In 1993 we moved with our family to Norwich and Peartree Bindery moved with us.
