Borders have just about everything I like in a shop– books, music, games, stationery and Starbucks! There is a great range of books, all neatly catergorised into easy-to-find sections, plenty of music, games for every console I can think of, the beautiful Paperchase stationery and of course a nice cup of coffee waiting at Starbucks. I think that the things that are the best value are the pre-owned games. Recently I bought Spyro the Dragon: Quest for the eggs(or something) for £4.99 on PS2 for my little sister, who never suspected it was preowned(until I told her) and thought it was the best Christmas present I’d ever got for her. For new it would probably cost around £25-£30. Anyway, my point is, this is a great shop. Did I mention the staff are really friendly and always helpful? Even at Christmastime, when other employees might be a bit stressy, I found those working at Borders to be polite and relaxed(despite the huge queuealthough they can’t really do anything about that)

Borders Books is a large, bright and spacious bookstore located within Chapelfield shopping centre. Spread over two stores, this shop incorporates a bookstore, a starbucks coffee shop, a paperchase stationary area, a GAME store and a wide range of magazines. It is very easy to waste a lot of time browsing the range of aisles in this store. There is a great range of items available in this store, and the staff are very helpful at guiding you to the areas you’re looking for, or ordering books in for you if they aren’t in stock. The only downside is that Borders don’t yet have a similar card and point scheme like Waterstones that would allow you to claim points back on your previous purchases. Otherwise I would always shop here.

Borders is a nice, modern book store. Its got a Starbucks within, and also sells CDs, DVDs, gifts and magazines. Its a really nice place to shop, and is always light and easy to find what you want. They have a few PCs around to use to find and locate specific works by authors, or to find recommendations.

While every bibliophile loves scouring the shelves of secondhand bookshelves, sometimes only the scope of a bookshop supermart will do. And Borders Norwich is that kind of place. It’s never going to offer the range of an Amazon, but they certainly try. A great selection of graphic novels, sits next to an ace kids book section. Good deals usually, and some comfy chairs to sit in and browse. Upstairs is a great selection of papers and magazines, including several that are usually tough to source. They’ve also opened a Game store on the top floor, the fourth to hit Norwich, so all your entertainment needs are met

This place is daunting in size. Taking over two floors, it seems to go on forever. If its even loosely literature based, you’re more then likely to find it here. and if not, the staff are fantastic at finding just about everything. A Starbucks, Paperchase department and comprehensive magazine section finish off the picture.
