Aged 56, Richard had a long standing career as a high level Manager in a Global Organisation in the Corporate Environment. In 2014, he decided to leave the corporate rat race and utilise his grass root engineering background to establish his own successful house refurbishment company. Fishing had always been a passion and he fell into buying and selling fishing tackle as a secondary business after selling the remnants of a bulk purchase he made to obtain a couple of Reels and a second purchase to buy a couple of Rods. This secondary business is now become his prime passion and he is still spreading the word about the green benefits and large cost savings associated with buying pre-​loved tackle.
