This is now quite a great little shop in the centre of Newquay, where you can get almost anything you need. Done the lottery this week this is the place to go, they are quite a lucky shop with many a winner buying his or her ticket there, and what about the advertising in the window, you can pick up fantastic bargains all year round.
The staff are helpful and cheerful, always ready to help, great service and the shop has a good supply of everthing you might need, from newspapers and your favourite magazine to «cold» drinks and chocky bars, crisps, ice cream, cigarettes and much much more!
Pop in everyone knows where the «Choc Box» is and so should you when down is Newquay.

woods choc box was very important part of y childhood. going in with my gran every week where she would buy a scratch card and if she won she would spen the money on sweets for me. its cvhanged a hell of alot and is almost unrecognisable from my childhood but still a very tidy little shop and we need more of these.

A very friendly little newsagents in the thick of town that must have been around longer than I have! Stocks a good range of papers and magazines and comics for the little ones, as well as the usual sweeties, crisps, drinks and basics like milk. Prices are average but service is provided with a smile. The shop is very useful for local residents as it sports a very helpful notice section on the right flank of the building notice of anything from cars and bikes to furniture, rental property and jobs. Good for people coming to do a summer season and looking for a room in a shared house without the expense of picking up a local paper from inside!
