I’ve officially been converted — I’m in love with Nando’s. My first taste of a good Nando’s in Britain was at their Cardiff branch in the Brewery Quarter but when my friends decided to come to this branch for some dinner, I have to admit that I was skeptical as I didn’t think that all Nando’s would be of the same quality. I’m happy to report that I was definitely wrong! ~ Atmosphere: Your standard Nando’s décor. They have their own on-site parking which is a definite bonus and the interior is pretty large. From what I can tell, Nando’s is quite popular so there were loads of people there even on a weekday night. ~ Customer Service: Really good. Like other Nando’s, you order at the counter and they bring your food out to you(get your own cutlery and drinks). The servers though were especially friendly and willing to have a laugh with you as well. Gives a warm atmosphere and nice feeling. ~ Food: I ordered the Chicken Thighs + 2 Sides(Mash and Peri-Peri Chips). Absolutely delicious! The chicken thighs were tender and the medium Nando’s sauce it was cooked in was divine as usual. One thing I do love about Nando’s is that there’s free extra sauce provided if you want; I love drizzling on some extra hot sauce! — I’ve yet to experience a bad Nando’s in Britain and I hope this trend continues. I’m addicted to that sauce!
