Fawdon Post Office

This place is our local post office on the corner at fawdon road. It not nice if you go there with pram because you can stuck, this place so small. Staff or cashier on there is not good very nasty lady. I just want proof of postage from post office but that lady very grumpy and does not want give me until I mad and protest what my right to send post. Then last time i want send post to british embassy for renew my husband visa the old lady as cashier just refuse my post say my address wrong, then I follow what she say to send my husband passport to another address. Then the end the address was give me is totally wrong. What the stupid staff on there, bossy and nasty. I hate go there but I do not have choice because other post office take 45 minute to go there (because I walk) but 5 minute if use car.

This post office branch is situated in Fawdon area of Newcastle. This post office is small. There are only 3 tills there, but there is always 1 till open everytime I go there. I never see the other 2 tills open actually. The staff is not nice either (at least to me, for some reason). Is it because I’m asian race? I don’t know. The last post service should be 5.30 pm, but they cannot actually receive post after 5.15 pm at the very latest. It doesn’t do what it says in the opening times. However, at least I have post office service close to my house, which is a good thing.
