Located next to the football ground, there are a few customer carpark spaces but you’ll be lucky to get one. There is a good selction of ranges. We were looking for a leather sofa and there was a really good selection with varying quality of leather. The staff were friendly and helpful as well as knowledgable about their products. Free coffee and fizz were available. In the end the sofa we had seen on the internet wasn’t in the Newcastle branch but the staff were happy to check out stock availability in other branches.

If you want something for your home to match your personality and not just the usual run of the mill, then Barker and Stonehouse is for you. I love this store. It has such beautiful stuff, and although some of it might not be for you it just oozes quality. It offers realy good brands and I have to admit have only ever had first class service from these and furniture that lasts and lasts. It may cost a bit extra but is well worth it.

Just next to football ground so time your visit carefully on match days! Good parking with two floors of bedroom /lounge /dining furniture. They also have a smallish design/kitchenwear section. Definitely one of the more expensive places to buy furniture in Newcstle but they stock quality brands eg Natuzzi, Collins and Hayes, Ercol etc. More modern feel to furniture than John Lewis and Fenwick Layout of store pretty good Good for; well heeled, those that buy quality Poor for; students, young couples in first flat, the poor, people who change furiture every year
