Although it’s a little hidden, it’s a great little café. It’s located on Level 2 (3rd floor for we Americans) so from the café you get a great view. It’s a view of the old Newcastle Brewery, which as of now is leveled down to nothing.
The café itself has plenty of seating, probably for a lounging area before matches. The outside walls of the Milburn reception are all glass, so you get plenty of sunlight, and inside they have some museum window exhibits to look at.
I ordered a hot chocolate for a decent price (prices in general are cheaper than say London), and it was a great drink on a cold day.
