Quaint café on the second floor in a 16th Century building, oak panelling and lots of pictures on the wall. Entered through the interesting book shop went up the stairs and was greeted by a member of staff who showed us to a table in this popular café. Good snacks and extensive cake list. Pleasant and efficient staff.
There is a roped off narrow staircase which leads to the unchanged part of the house which is how it would have looked 420 years ago. I believe you can ask to have a look at this.

whenever I m in Nantwich I visit the coffee shop, and hopefully get a comfy seat in the best room.
There are three seating areas in this café and 1 has sofas and the best panelling I have ever seen in a café!
There food is really good, they are always busy so that means the locals love it too.
When you visit ask to go up into the attic, wow you will be very impressed I won’t say anymore you will have to visit to see what I mean!
