I have been building and repairing bicycles since 1989. I recently decided to turn this hobby into my own business. I have been working as a mobile mechanic, operating from my home, but I have made the move to open my own online store and also my own shop.

Im 37 years old. I have 2 young children, who encourage me to stay young and fulfill my dreams on a day to day basis. I have been passionate about cycling since I learnt to ride at 5 years old. When I turned 15, I was repairing and building bikes for friends.

After working in my youth as a hotel manager, I decided to follow second passion, Engineering. I joined the Royal Navy as an Engineer. All this time I was still an avid cyclist. Getting out on the bike as soon as I could.

At the start of the year I decided to turn my hobby into my career. I opened my own mobile repair business. Selling reconditioned bikes. I also have my own parts and accessories website www​.urbanesk​.co​.uk

My next step is to open my own shop in Musselburgh, so keep a look out for that in the next week or so.
