A decent venue with a decent
food. I love eating Chinese foods, and this is the best place for it. The
ambiance is very cool, service is OK and the staffs works very quickly. They
offer a delicious and high quality Chinese foods and beverage. They serve a vast
variety of drinks, containing some Chinese whiskeys. I really go back to this
place again, and highly recommend it to anyone who wants good and delicious
Chinese foods.

This place was great! Been here twice now, and twice I have left impressed. Def not your takeaway chinese rubbish. This is nice authentic Chinese food. The set menu’s are great as they really do fill you up to the point you cannot move anymore! Even though its not cheap, it is worth it!

A very nice Chinese restaurant conveniently located in the Theatre District of Milton Keynes. They do some nice pre-​theatre menus, and when we called checked if we were attending the theatre so they could make sure they served us promptly.
The food was good, and nicely presented, we’ll definitely call again another day: recommended.

We luv this place, food is always spot on and staff attentive and still smile even when it gets busy. Not the cheapest in town but you pay for what you get, want a cheap Chinese, go to the chippy, want an authentic Chinese meal and a nice setting then go to Tai Pan. 10⁄10

The food is very good here. I wouldn’t say it is ‘authentic’, but the flavours were strong enough to satisfy my tastes. I had the hot and sour soup and friend rice. Both were very good. The consistency of the soup and texture of the rice was perfect. They use a bit more oil than I would prefer, but nothing too excessive. It is nothing to write home about, but at the same time you will not be dissapointed. I had no problem with the service or atmosphere either. This is definitely an ‘above average’ restaurant though, and it is reflected in the price.

Why do Chinese restaurants in the UK insist on serving an MSG covered, Anglosised version of Chinese food? Guys — we dont want it! We want real, authentic Chinese cuisine. Tai Pan offers just that. It’s great. The best Chinese food I’ve had outside of Hong Kong and NYC’s Chinatown. Excellent service, great surroundings. Yeah it’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. Recommended.
