I love Instore. It’s the Poundstretcher of old although when I was there earlier today I could have sworn it was called Poundstretcher again! Anyway, I digress. this store is a large one, much bigger than the one in Bletchley. On the left hand side as you walk in there are now four or five rows of shelving, together with the back wall, with tinned and packeted food products such as baked beans, sweetcorn, pineapple chunks, soups and cereals. Household items are at the back together with books, clothes and toys. Then, along the front are cleaning products and gardening equipment. There’s a £1 section next to the cleaning products. There’s a large Dora the Explorer section with some good priced jigsaws etc, plus there are a few Harry Potter toys in there at the moment, one reduced from £30 to £10. This store is nicely laid out now, clean, with plenty of room to move about between the main aisles, although maybe slightly squashed between some others. If you haven’t been in there for a while you’ll be struck by how the checkouts have changed. They’re now individual checkouts and you queue up at one of them, rather than in a long queue then taking turns.
