There are many other garages to use in the area that charge you not to be abusive, and rather than talk about an issue they usher you out like you have leprosy. Mechanic literally does what is asked because it isn’t economically efficient for him to find out what the real issue is. They know there is nothing wrong with the part they are replacing but will do it anyway cause they can charge labour fees for the work they did, not for what needs doing. The misogynistic attitude of the area manager transcends down to the front line staff, apart from one. But even he is not enough to save the embarrassment caused to my mrs to be publically shouted at in front of other people rather than talk about why the correct work on my car was not done. And to have received such a boisterous phone call of «We did what was asked of us», even after «test driving» it to see if the problem was rectified was pretty much a verbal slap in the face.
