This is a great little shop, the guy in there is always really friendly. You get a personal service which isn’t that easy to find really, and he doesn’t charge the earth for it.
Last year my girlfriends laptop conked out and her insurance company told her to take it for a valuation on how much it would be to fix. she took it in there to see if he would be able to do anything about it, he charged her a flat rate for the tests, then when she went back to see how much it would be to fix it he said he would try free of charge. Next time she went in, unfortunately it was beyond repair, but he prepared an engineers report at no extra cost so that she could send it off to the insurance company and she would get the correct valuation on the replacement.
More recently, I went in as I wanted a new desktop PC, and got a quote to see how much it would be for the spec I wanted, and found that it was around £300 cheaper than the equivalent if I had gone online and got it manufactured by a larger company. Shows how much commission they take!
If you have any computer problems I would recommend this place, he won’t overcharge like some of the places in Middlesbrough.
