Helens Hound’s offers a reliable, personal and friendly dog walking and pet care service catered to your pets individual needs.

I cover the areas of Middlesbrough, Stockton, Yarm, Ingleby Barwick, Redcar, Marske, Saltburn, Guisborough.

Dog walks are either group walks (up to a maximum of 3 dogs) or individual walks can be arranged for dogs who prefer their own company. I

Where possible dogs are walked in the areas they are familiar with local to their own. This prevents stress from travelling. If transported dogs are carried in a secure cage in my people carrier. I prefer not to use a van so that dogs are able to look out of the windows.

I will arrange a first visit with yourself and your dog which usually takes around half an hour and is free of charge. This is a great opportunity for yourself and your pet to get to know me and for me to find out as much as possible about your dogs individual needs.

History

Established in 2011.

Helens Hounds was established in July 2011. I decided to set up this business and build on my previous experience working in a pet shop and as a countryside ranger.

The business grew quickly mainly through word of mouth and I now have over 25 pets on my books.

I am the sole worker in the business so you know that you will always receive a personal service. Your pet will build up a relationship with myself and will not have different carers for each visit (which can be unsettling for a pet). I get to know your pet and their individual needs very quickly.
